REGISTER NOW FOR THE SEPTEMBER 25, 2010 AN MCLE FULL-DAY CONFERENCE AT THE SANTA BARBARA COUNTY COURTHOUSE 

Santa Barbara Paralegal Association is organizing a full day MCLE conference on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the beautiful and historic Santa Barbara Courthouse. Already confirmed as speakers are former Deputy District Attorney, Joshua Lynn (white collar crime), Santa Barbara County Bar Association President, attorney Lynn Goebel (family law), attorney Rafael Gonzalez (employment law), attorney Sam Eaton (criminal law), Parasec President, Lynn Conner (corporate terrorism), attorney Christopher Jones (probate/trust administration), Craig Bates, owner of Telegenics (use of videography in litigation), attorney Cristi Michelon (civil litigation), Sherry Crisp (technology consultant/document management and evidence software specialist) Jim Terry from the California Court of Appeal, 2nd District, 6th Division and the Honorable James F. Rigali, Judge of the Santa Barbara Superior Court, North County (Elimination of Bias). We will be offering diverse and unique sessions on a wide variety of topics. The day will include opportunities to view distinctive vendor exhibit tables and enjoy a delicious, casual lunch on the grounds of the courthouse Sunken Garden. (The Bunny Festival will occur on the same day – we’re hopping excited!) 

Classes will be offered in several courtrooms and the day will culminate with a wine and cheese reception, during which a docent-led tour of the courthouse will be offered for those interested, including the chance to see some building areas not ordinarily open to the public. (SBPA will be donating a portion of the proceeds from this event to the Santa Barbara Courthouse Legacy Foundation.)

This will be an event not to be missed! Up to five credit hours of MCLE will be available to each attendee.
